We are located in Nth East Victoria and have been breeding Damara sheep for 7 years. We started with one Pure bred ram and 16 cross bred ewes. Our numbers are now over 350.

Damara meat is extremely low fat (premium meat) as all excess fat is transfered to the Damara's tail  hence the terminology "Fat tail sheep".

This means that the meat is especially suited to low fat diets.

Damara sheep are well know to Middle Eastern world and are exported to countries such as Saudia Arabia, Irak, Iran and Egypt to name a few.
